About “Dream Crossing”

 

A young adult fantasy fiction:

 

Duncan Wright, an eleventh grader in Silver Spring High School, had a compelling reason to learn the craft of Magic. He read all the books in the local library on the subject, but when he began practicing astral travel at night, he got more that he bargained for.

 

In an attempt one night to exact revenge on Craig Smethurst, the school bully, he not only crossed into Craig’s dream, but landed himself in another world altogether; a world with deep troubles. And Duncan found himself in the thick of it!

 

Magic and intrigue, war and love, all entwined. Duncan had to grow up fast, or his new world would not survive…and he would never make it home again.

When I first saw this picture, the story just told itself to me around it. In fact, when I got to a place in the story that fit this picture almost exactly, I became quite emotional! Only the clothes are different and the structure in the background is a bit different.
